Articulation Paper...

              Technology is  indispensable thing because it surrounds our life. If I wouldn’t have a mobile phone, how would I access instant news/e-mails about my courses? If I wouldn’t have a computer, how would I access to articles/slides? For a research, it would took lots of time to obtain information in the library. How would I follow new investigations from the other countries? All these questions ends up with “If it is used well, technology is very usefull tool for  education.” So we can say, technology is a good helper to learn new things, access information and work on a task online.

                As a teacher approach, first we can talk about what is teachnology using and technology integration is. Using technology is just “using” existing tools. For example, projection machines are good to show our slides but it is not exactly an integration. It is because students haven’t any role on that usage, they cannot be involved. On the other hand, if we make them get involved to these technological processes, they can feel the real effects of technology. What kind of examples can we talk about this involvement? Making interactives videos, multimedia lessons like Articulating Storylines, using VR boxes to show 3D places in the classroom time and then use that reality, making pop-up quizzes online  (Menti, Kahoot.. etc.) and goes on.... All these features of technology make students exciting and increase their willingness. If we try hard, there are lots of opportunities to make our instruction better.

                When I become a teacher, I want to use many different teaching teachniques such as Flipped learning, Steam learning... I try to follow up new developments on the other countries and it is encouraging me. I have no classroom experience so I’m a little bit complicated how I apply all my dreams. If I could work as much as I can, there is no obligation to make me use conventional techniques J
